Using this website

The content here describes the type of work we carry out. Photographs show our own completed projects. Nothing on this website is a quotation or an offer to contract.

Quotations and scope

Quotations are based on a survey and a written scope of work, and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Work outside the written scope is priced as a documented variation and agreed in writing before it is carried out.

Payments

Payment stages, amounts and timings are set out in your contract before work begins. We work to agreed stage payments against completed work, with invoices due within 7 days of issue. We do not ask for large up-front deposits beyond materials specifically ordered for your project.

Guarantee

Completed work is covered by a 10-year warranty. The written terms, including what is and is not covered, are supplied with your quotation and repeated at handover.

Cancellation

As a consumer you have 14 days from signing the contract to cancel without giving a reason, unless you have asked us to begin work sooner. If work has begun, or materials have been ordered specifically for your project, we may charge for what has already been carried out or supplied. Cancellation requests can be sent to info@dreamspacedesignandbuild.co.uk.

Complaints

If something is not right, contact us at info@dreamspacedesignandbuild.co.uk or 07399476947. We acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and give a full written response within 14 days. As a Federation of Master Builders member, unresolved disputes can also be referred to the FMB's dispute resolution service.
